(Video) Watch Jurgen Klopp’s very interesting Swansea presser – Sturridge, Coutinho, Henderson & more

Jurgen Klopp spoke to the media today ahead of our crucial Premier League tie at home to Swansea.

The German was in buoyant mood after our win against Bordeaux on Thursday made it two wins on the trot following the brilliant Manchester City victory.

But he began by discussing the Daniel Sturridge situation, with the striker pulling out of the Europa League tie due to a foot complaint.

“I understand why everybody is waiting,” Klopp told reporters. “But we have to accept the situation. Danny was very often injured [recently].

“Usually it’s not the quality of Daniel, what you need is training – your body has to learn to adapt to a new intensity of training.

“You have to learn what is serious pain & what is only pain. Everybody wants him back on the pitch but that’s what we have to learn.

“It’s not that serious, but it’s not possible to go on as before. We have to stay patient, I’m sorry to say.”
