(Video) Craig Bellamy opens up on mental health battles whilst at Liverpool

Speaking openly about mental health is something we as a society have got much better at and Craig Bellamy has already been an advocate for opening the discussion, something he did once again whilst discussing his Liverpool career.

In an interview with Gary Neville on ‘The Overlap’, the Welshman shared how he dealt with the death of his friend and former teammate Gary Speed.

The 44-year-old revealed how conversations with club psychiatrist Steve Peters helped him realise what trauma he was living through, at a highly emotional time of his life.
