Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini does not wish to re-sign Mario Balotelli…

Roberto Mancini has no interest in bringing Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli back to Inter Milan, having himself agreed to a second spell with the Italian giants earlier this week.

Reports in the Daily Mirror claim that Balotelli is happy with the Reds, despite his underwhelming start to life at Anfield, and is not looking for a move away, despite the reported interest of a number of clubs in his homeland.

Balotelli, who had a high-profile bust-up with Mancini while the pair were both at Manchester City in 2012, has not scored in the Premier League yet this season, despite featuring in nine of the Reds’ 11 outings this season.

Following Mancini’s return to Inter, rumours emerged that the duo could be reunited at the San Siro, but those suggestions were quickly dismissed, with the latter saying: “Mario is happy at Liverpool.

“He has a great chance and was fortunate enough to go back to one of England’s biggest clubs. He has to make the most of this opportunity.”

Meanwhile, the Mirror are also reporting that Balotelli could also miss Liverpool’s game with Crystal Palace next weekend, after picking up an injury on international duty. He has recently returned to Melwood for treatment on his hamstring.
