Liverpool predicted lineup vs Leicester City: Reds look to back-up Stoke win…

Liverpool travel to a struggling Leicester City side on Tuesday evening, no doubt anxious to build on Saturday’s 1-0 victory at home to Stoke. The Foxes are without a win since September and sit bottom of the Premier League table.

Our Liverpool predicted lineup vs Leicester City can be seen below:

GK) Simon Mignolet

The Belgian has ignored the criticism that was heaped on him over the course of last week, and produced an excellent all-round performance to keep just his third clean sheet of the season against Stoke. Any suggestions that he should be dropped have been firmly shelved.

RB) Javier Manquillo

With Jose Enrique highly unlikely to play two games in four days, Brendan Rodgers will likely recall either Manquillo, or Alberto Moreno. His preferred tactic in recent weeks has been to use the former, who we think will get the nod here.

CB) Martin Skrtel

One of the first names on the Liverpool teamsheet, and in no danger of losing his place here, with Mamadou Sakho still sidelined as he recovers from injury.

CB) Kolo Toure

The remaining centre back slot will therefore be between Toure and Dejan Lovren. The Ivorian was in fine form at the weekend, and was arguably the man of the match as Liverpool beat Stoke, and would be very hard done by to lose his place here.

LB) Glen Johnson

Manquillo’s inclusion means that Johnson will again be asked to play on the left. After he netted the winning goal against Stoke, Liverpool fans will no doubt be hoping that the England international has received a much needed confidence boost.
