Mamadou Sakho deserves to start ahead of Dejan Lovren…
Sakho made his first Premier League start since September, and provided steel and bite to the three-man defence. The Frenchman is very left-footed, but this means he slots into the left central defender role – in the 3-4-3 formation – perfectly. With Dejan Lovren injured and badly out form, the 24-year-old deserves a run of games in the first-team.
