None of the current batch make the list…

Following Martin Skrtel’s goal against Arsenal last weekend, the Slovakian is sitting on 17 career goals for the Reds – but he’s not yet in the top nine of all-time…

9) Alan Kennedy – 20 goals

The legendary fullback scored 20 goals in total, but his most important by far was the winner in the European Cup final in 1981.

8) John Arne-Riise – 31 goals

The cult-hero Norwegian left-back is most famous for his thunderbolt freekick against Manchester United, but he repeated the trick on a few other occasions as well. Riise made over 300 Reds appearances in total.

7) Donald Mackinlay – 34 goals

Few will have have heard of MacKinlay, but his Liverpool career stretched between 1910 and 1929. In the 1912/13 season, he notched six – his most productive season, and he would have grabbed more altogether if World War 1 hadn’t stolen four years of his career.
