What a waste of money…!
Following on from Arsenal’s not too displeasurable Champions League humiliation at the hands of Monaco, a number of Liverpool fans couldn’t hide their glee and took to Twitter to rub it in to our Premier League rivals.

Yes, whilst we too might have dropped out of the Champions League with more of a whimper than a roar, at least we didn’t get completely ram-raided by a two-bit, Ligue 1 side at home.
And to make matters even more hilarious, we didn’t spend £42 million on a player that day-by-day looks evermore a flop and instead invested wisely, taking a gamble on Brazilian sensation Philippe Coutinho, who, it turns out, has been a masterstroke signing.
