RAM) Thierry Henry
The former Arsenal superstar might have retired from football at the end of last year, but there is little doubting the fact that he’s still more that capable of putting the ball in the net. The French veteran will be a big draw here – and it’ll be great to see him temporarily don a Liverpool shirt! (Although we don’t actually know what strips the players will be wearing…) He’s the only non-Liverpool ace we’d have in our side.
ST) Fernando Torres
The Spaniard is set to pull on a Liverpool shirt one last time. Four years on from his infamous deadline day move to Chelsea, the now Atletico Madrid striker will be bracing himself for a mixed reception from the Anfield faithful.
LAM) Luis Suarez
The greatest Liverpool striker of the Premier League era? The Uruguayan scored 82 goals in 133 games for the Reds prior to his £75m move to Barcelona last summer. Unlike Torres perhaps, he’ll be welcomed back with open arms.
