6) Canos made his debut for Liverpool’s Under-18s in July 2013, competing in a 4-1 victory over Birmingham City in a pre-season friendly. He came on as a second-half substitute and scored the fourth goal.

5) After a battle over international clearance, he made his competitive youth debut in November. He scored his first goal later that month in a 2-0 win over Wolves. He would go on to scored three times in 17 appearances during his first season with the club, before making his Under-21s debut at the start of this season, featuring against Man United.

4) Canos was a huge Valencia supporter growing up, and idolised their former striker David Villa. The 33-year-old, now in the MLS with New York City, scored 128 goals in 217 games for the Spanish giants before moving to Barcelona. He was also an integral part of the Spanish national team that won the World Cup in 2010.
