Liverpool have accepted a £2.5 million bid for Sergi Canos from the recently relegated Norwich City.
According to the Echo, we have now granted the 19-year-old permission to speak to the East Anglian club.
Canos spent last season on loan at Brentford and was widely hailed as one of their standout performers, scoring their goal of the season and wowing fans will his speed and trickery.
Klopp brought him back to Anfield for the final game of the season and he made a late cameo in our 1-1 draw with West Brom.
It’s thought Klopp would like to keep him on Merseyside, but has balked at the large wages demanded by Canos’ agent.
The former Barcelona player only has one year left on his current deal, and must now decide whether to fight for his place or leave in search of guaranteed first team football.
