Daniel Sturridge featured and looked encouragingly impressive as he participated in all of the drills. The striker missed the recent England games against Lithuania and Italy with a hip injury, but could play in North London.
The 25-year-old will certainly have a point to prove at the Emirates Stadium. Many fans have voiced their frustration had his recent injury problems, which have restricted him to just a handful of appearances so far this campaign.
Kolo Toure was also in in-depth discussions with Mamadou Sakho, suggesting that he could well be the man to get the nod in the absence of the suspended Martin Skrtel.
Alberto Moreno was also participating in defensive training, no doubt preparing for a tough-test against the in-form Gunners.
