AM) Adam Lallana
Roberto Firmino’s arrival means that the players are going to be queuing up for one of the two roles behind the central striker. Philippe Coutinho is guaranteed at least one of those places, while Raheem Sterling also remains on our books. Lallana might have to prove himself in games such as this.
AM) Lazar Markovic
The Serbian will be way down the pecking order. However, he’s still young, he still has great potential, and if he can prove himself in the lesser competitions then he has every chance of moving up into a more regular role.
ST) Danny Ings
Ings was Burnley’s top scorer last season but is unlikely to go straight into our team, especially once Daniel Sturridge has returned form injury. He will get his chances to impress and this could be the perfect platform to do so. Divock Origi will also be hoping to play a part.
