Javier Manquillo and Iago Aspas have taken to social media to discuss their moves away from Liverpool.
The Spanish duo, who earlier this week were both quietly removed from the squad list on our official website, will be looking to rebuild their careers over the next twelve months after disappointing spells on Merseyside.

Manquillo, who started brightly with us last season before losing his place and falling down the pecking order under Brendan Rodgers, has joined Marseille – again on loan from Atletico Madrid – where he remains contracted.
The young full-back, who made 19 appearances for us in total, has posted this on his Twitter account:
Grateful to @LFC and his fans for the great experience lived that will help me in the future #FAREWELL #LFC pic.twitter.com/b6rZnTtZQ1

Aspas, who spent last season on loan at Sevilla, has re-joined former club Celta Vigo. The 28-year-old scored 37 goals during his last two campaigns with the club and, if his tweets are anything to go by, is relieved to be home.
He managed to find the net just once during 15 appearances in a Liverpool shirt, with that strike coming during an FA Cup win over Oldham Athletic.
He was recently quoted on his move by Spanish journalist Veronica Carralcazar:
“Podría haber seguido en el sofá de mi casa en Liverpool ganando dinero, pero a mí lo que me gusta es el fútbol” grande @aspas10, honestidad — Veronica Carralcazar (@Vcarralcazar) August 5, 2015
According to the Liverpool Echo, this roughly translates as: “I could be on my couch making money in Liverpool, but I prefer to play football.”
Interestingly, Luis Alberto has also had his profile removed from our official site, despite the fact that he is still contracted to the club. The 22-year-old will spend this season on loan at Deportivo La Coruna.
We wish all three players the best of luck for the season ahead.
