We’ve just thrashed Everton 4-0 in a derby at Anfield for the first time since – err – 2014.

Milner got a pair of assists as Divock Origi, Mamadou Sakho, Philippe Coutinho, and Daniel Sturridge bagged the goals.

The only sour point was the injury for Origi, as he left the pitch on a stretcher midway through the second period.

Here’s how we’ve rated our team’s individual performances:

GK: Simon Mignolet – 7/10

Was he playing?! Everton managed a grand total of zero shots on target.

LB: Alberto Moreno – 7.5/10

A good performance from the full-back. Smashed a couple of zingers goalbound and added support to the attacks.

CB: Mamadou Sakho – 8.5/10

Like the rest of the defence, Sakho barely had to lift a finger for long periods. However, we’ve given him an extra boost for two reasons – 1) that crunching tackle on James McCarthy in the 96th minute, and 2) the attitude he showed when Origi was down, kneeling by the side of the stricken Belgian.

CB: Dejan Lovren – 7.5/10

Incredibly quiet game for the Croatian. Made a couple of decent interceptions early on.

RB: Nathaniel Clyne – 8/10

Clyne is getting better and better under Klopp. The width he provides always gives us an option when we’re on the edge of the opponents area.

CM: James Milner – 9/10

After picking up an early booking it looked like it might be a long night for Milner, but his leadership qualities shone through as the first half wore on – he was always talking and expertly guided the players around. Grabbed the assists for the first two goals.

CM: Lucas 7.5/10

Lucas had an easy game after being rarely troubled by the Everton attacks.

AML: Philippe Coutinho – 8.5/10

Bagged a goal and looked constantly threatening.

AMC: Roberto Firmino – 7.5/10

Slightly quiet night given the ease with which we carved Everton open. Was hooked on 65 after Origi’s injury.

AMR: Adam Lallana – 8/10

Missed a sitter in the opening five minutes, but was solid thereafter. Could have easily scored a couple of goals and broke his personal record for most shots in a game (5).

ST: Divock Origi – 8/10

Got a few ribbings from Klopp in the opening 30 minutes for not showing enough movement, but picked up his game and headed in the vital opener. Went off on a stretcher in the second half.

SUBSTITUTES:

Min 54: Daniel Sturridge – 8.5/10

Took his goal wonderfully and even tried to cheekily claim Coutinho’s goal.

Min 66: Joe Allen – 8/10

Another strong cameo performance from the Welshman.

Min 81: Jordon Ibe – 7/10

Didn’t really have time to influence the game, but went on a couple of good dribbles.
