Exact minute Klopp left stadium used as evidence of genuine Higuain interest

We feel this transfer rumour is turning into a saga in the first day of its existence.

Here’s the lowdown so far:

beIN SPORTS are reporting that Liverpool are on the verge of signing Napoli’s Gonzalo Higuain, a few weeks after the Mirror claimed (out of nowhere) that the forward wants a Merseyside switch.

Last night, Jurgen Klopp was at the Copa America watching Argentina’s 2-1 victory over Chile – sat next to a man who has been identified by many as Nicolas Higuain, the brother and agent of the 28-year-old hitman.

However, some reckon it’s actually Marc Klopp – Jurgen’s son – while others are claiming it’s somebody entirely different.

But if it was Klopp’s son, why wouldn’t they leave together…? Our manager got up in the 75th minute and exited, as this picture proves (check the scoreboard), leaving his ambiguous associate behind. Interestingly, Higuain had been subbed after 74 minutes.

Is this proof of an imminent transfer? Of course not. But the fact Klopp is watching this game shows he’s scouting somebody, and the fact he left as soon as Higuain departed, as well as the multiple stories doing the rounds, suggests there could be something in this one.

Here’s hoping, anyway…
