We have 12 players at the European Championships in France – more than any other club on the continent.

It could have even been 14 if Sakho and Lovren were involved. Sakho would have presumably played in France’s dramatic 2-1 win over Romania in the tournament’s curtain-raiser last night, but instead we’ve had to wait until Saturday to see any Liverpool players in action.

Between England vs Russia and Wales vs Slovakia, however, no fewer than eight of our 12 players could see game time tomorrow.

For England, the quintet of Henderson, Sturridge, Clyne, Lallana, and Milner will all hope to play some part in Hodgson’s team.

For Wales, Joe Allen looks set to start, though Danny Ward is behind Wayne Hennessey in the battle for the number one shirt.

Lastly – Martin Skrtel will start for Slovakia. He looks likely to leave Liverpool this summer, so will be hopeful of using the Euros to put himself in the shop window.
