Jurgen Klopp has been speaking about our strikers ahead of the Premier League opener against Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.
There has been almost endless debate on Twitter and internet forums this week about who is our first-choice forward, and who will be picked to lead the line at the Emirates.
Klopp, however, says there is only one thing that’ll determine his strategy: results.
When asked about who was likely to be his go-to striker for the season, this is how he responded:
“That depends on the results we have actually. When everything is perfect, it’s all about timing.
“If you’re involved in the perfect game and it looks like you can perform in the next game, it’s a better position for the player who’s involved that’s for sure.
“But I don’t make decisions four weeks in advance, why should I?” (via Echo).

He went on to add that he now has his Arsenal eleven in mind – but he wouldn’t reveal who was in and who was out.
“In this moment I have a clear idea of how we want to start but it’s only the start, nothing else.
“The players who won’t start for example, making sure that they’re still confident and feel they are an important part of our game.”
