Brilliant stat sums up Klopp’s influence on Liverpool circles net

This calendar year, Liverpool have outscored every side in the Premier League – by five goals.

Last season’s champions Leicester, Manchester’s billionaires, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs all trail behind Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.

The stat is confirmed by Sky Sports, and shown in this tweet, too.

With Sadio Mane added to the likes of Daniel Sturridge, Roberto Firmino, Coutinho and Adam Lallana Liverpool have arguably the most attacking options in the top flight.

That’s before mentioning Divock Origi, Danny Ings, Sheyi Ojo and Gini Wijnaldum, who can also play further forward.

Now the only task for Liverpool is to continue finding the back of the net, against sides who park the bus as well, while giving away much less easy goals at the back.

In our first two games of the campaign we shipped five, but have been more solid since, conceding two in three games played.

Joel Matip’s entry into the side has been a real positive, and we hope the Cameroonian can form a long-standing partnership with the ever improving Dejan Lovren at the heart of defence.
