Move over heavy metal football, this is Klopp’s football from hell

If you support one of the Premier League’s other 19 sides, you should be very, very worried. Liverpool Football Club is back.

There were signs of it last term, but this season it seems like Klopp-ball is in full effect. And he’s moved on from heavy metal football — this, ladies and gentlemen, is football from hell.

“We played football like hell, it was really nice to watch,” said the German.

“You don’t understand it, football like hell? Very lively, very flexible. We never thought about anything else other than playing our football.” (Mail)

But what is football hell, exactly?! Consider this:

  • We’ve scored more goals than anyone else in the league since January 1st
  • We’ve smashed four goals past the top two from last season
  • We’ve got seven points from away trips to Spurs, Arsenal, and Chelsea
  • We beat the champions 4-1

It’s fast, it’s slick, it’s clever, it’s powerful, it’s destructive, it’s awe-inspiring. It’s Liverpool FC at it’s finest.
