U18s slip to uninspiring loss against Middlesborough

Posted by

The Liverpool U18s side lost 2-1 away at Middlesborough on Saturday afternoon.

Rhian Brewster was the best player on the pitch for the Reds as he bagged his second goal in as many weeks.

We fell 2-0 behind before Brewster scored to get us back in the game, but we couldn’t snatch an equaliser despite dominating the second half (official site).

The result means we sit fifth in the U18s league with nine points from five games. Newcastle Utd top the standings with 13 points from their first five fixtures.
