Klopp has just reached his one-year anniversary at the club.
The turnaround in just 12 short months has been spectacular – we’ve been to two cup finals and are scoring goals for fun – it’s all a far cry from the cloud that hung over the club at the end of the Rodgers era.
In an interview published in the Echo today, he has been offering his thoughts on how he feels about living in Liverpool and the surrounding area.
He was asked if he was happy in Formby, where he has set up home.
“Yes, 100%,” he said.
“So we would not have signed such a long contract if you think ‘it’s really difficult to live here’. For a dog it’s paradise. The beach, she loves it at the seaside. It sounds more sad than it is actually, but life is football to be honest in moments like this. The Freshfield (local pub), going there. I really like having a good pint in good surroundings.”
Great to know Jurgen, anything else we can do to make you feel comfortable?!
