Yesterday, after news broke that we’d be leaving the Melwood training facility in a £50m redevelopment of the Kirkby Academy, a sign was put up outside our current digs which read: ‘Mellwood to say. Klopp out. Yanks out.’
If they’d have spelt Melwood correctly, the banner, which was carefully crafted from a cardboard box and a marker pen, might have had a little more effect!
If it was a Liverpool supporter, by the way – hang your head in shame.
