This couldn’t have come at a better time, in truth.
Adam Lallana has alerted his Twitter followers that he’ll be back in action this coming weekend as Liverpool head to Watford for a crunch away tie.

Our defeat on Sunday to Crystal Palace was grim and puts our chances of a top four finish completely up in the air, but Lallana (one of our players of the season) will provide Jurgen Klopp with a fantastic option in Hertfordshire…
Not only can he play in central midfield, but he could join the front-three as well, meaning Klopp could either drop Lucas or Divock Origi, depending on preference.
We’d like to see Lallana deployed in a midfield three with Emre Can and Gini Wijnaldum, and give Divock Origi another chance up top.
The reason being that during January when Lallana replaced Sadio Mane in the front-three, we lacked creativity in the middle.
