Liverpool’s reported transfer target Keita Balde, not to be confused with Red Bull Leipzig’s Naby Keita, has his heart set on a move to Juventus and not Anfield, Calciomercato report.
The Italian rumour-mongers are notoriously unreliable when it comes to Premier League transfer news, but can be trusted far more when their claims involve two Serie A clubs.
Keita currently plies his trade for Lazio and enjoyed a stellar domestic campaign, notching 16 goals in total, despite primarily being used as a wing-forward.
He’s been mooted as a target for Liverpool, as he’ll cost less than Mo Salah, but we’ve agreed personal terms with Roma’s Egyptian speed-demon, so shouldn’t be too worried if Keita’s Turin bound.
Liverpool still have to agree a fee with Roma; with the Italian giants holding out for close to €40m. However, Jurgen Klopp has significant funds at his disposal and will have plenty left to spend if we do agree to their asking price.
