Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is growing increasingly frustrated by the lack of progress in his contract extension negotiations and there are a number of English clubs, including Liverpool, interested in his services.
The Telegraph rate us as the favourites to sign the 23-year-old Englishman, who has just 12 months left to run on his contract.

According to the Telegraph, Jurgen Klopp is not put off by Oxlade-Chamberlain’s £35m valuation and could move onto this pursuit once the Mo Salah deal is over the line.

Oxlade-Chamberlain prefers to play central midfield, but we’d assume it’s his versatility that appeals to Klopp. The England international proved he can play right wing-back for Arsenal towards the end of last season, and has done jobs advanced on the wing in the past.
Klopp plays three in midfield though, and it’s in one of the positions ahead of the anchorman that could suit him best if he were to transfer to Liverpool.
