It looks like Kylian Mbappe will stay at Monaco this summer, with the French ready to offer him a whopping new deal.

Liverpool, Arsenal and Real Madrid all want the brilliant teenager, but Mbappe’s latest tweet suggests he’s staying put…

The striker posted a picture of himself with the caption: ‘Back to Monaco’, in both English and Spanish – the two languages of the clubs linked with his services…

Mbappe was an ambitious target for Liverpool anyway, especially considering it would require a world-record fee for his services.

Instead, we’re likely to keep Daniel Sturridge – hoping the Englishman stays fit for the upcoming campaign.

Brazilian Firmino is likely to be first-choice when everyone’s fit, with Jurgen Klopp loving his movement, work-rate and ability to defend from the front.
