Liverpool have won the race for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The player’s agency, Colossal Sports MGT, tweeted the news this afternoon – claiming a deal with LFC has been agreed.

A number of other trusted accounts have followed their lead, too.

#LFC agree £35m fee with #Arsenal for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain after he snubbed #CFC.

The fee is rumoured to be £35m, which is not as much as the £40m Chelsea offered Arsenal last night.
The player though rejected their advances, desperate to move to Liverpool, the club he supported as a boy, and play under Jurgen Klopp – who’s promised to use him in central midfield.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has stagnated under Arsene Wenger but Klopp could definitely get the best out of him – able to utilise his technical and physical attributes.
It remains to be seen if we follow up the deal with another one for Monaco’s Thomas Lemar, the Frenchman the Reds were more excited about.
With another day of the window left though, we don’t think this will be Liverpool’s final deal.
