Despite winning the title last term, Carlo Ancelotti was this morning sacked as Bayern Munich manager.
The legendary Italian lost 3-0 to PSG last night, which was reportedly the final straw for Bayern’s executives who’ve seen the team regress since Pep Guardiola departed.
But as soon as the news broke, potential replacements began to circle the web, with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp named as one of them.

We checked the odds, and with Sky Bet, he’s at 16/1, making him the fourth favourite behind Julian Nagelsmann, Willy Sagnol and Thomas Tuchel.
In all honesty, we’re not worried Bayern will poach him in the slightest. Klopp has a project at Liverpool he’s not just going to leave, despite some early season struggles.
What’s more, he actively and openly dislikes Bayern, having managed their arch-rivals Borussia Dortmund for so long.
There’s no way he’d do that to them.
Here’s some of the Liverpool Twitter reaction:

Dear Bayern Munich supporters,
For those who are getting excited about Klopp joining Bayern, it’s as likely as your club winning the Premier League.
All the best in your hunt for a new manager.#LFC

People actually thinking Klopp will jump ship for Bayern, this is why we have “don’t drink” labels on shampoo bottles. #LFC #LFCfamily

Why are people talking about Klopp going to Bayern?
He hates them.

It’s amazing how all the Twitter #LFC fans who’s been criticising #Klopp are suddenly panicking about that same man going to Bayern.
