Why Jurgen Klopp has travelled to South Africa

Jurgen Klopp has awarded himself a short holiday while the majority of the first-team are on an international break.

In fact, he has told his first-teamers that they have until Friday for themselves – meaning Mo Salah, Joel Matip, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Daniel Sturridge, James Milner, Loris Karius and Ragnar Klavan have a holiday before the gruelling run up to Christmas.

Even though we’re out of the League Cup, there’s still a game every 3/4 days until 2018 when we return to face Southampton on November 18.

We actually thought Klopp would relish the chance to have some proper time on the training field with so many first-team players, but we guess they’ve earned a break after racking up their third straight win.

The 4-1 victory over West Ham means we sit just outside the top four and are top of our Champions League Group as well.

Bar Manchester City, there’s nobody in this league Liverpool should be scared of and we truly think that we’ll be right up there at the end of the campaign.
