Bayern Munich have earmarked three Germans to take over next season. Jurgen Klopp, Thomas Tuchel and Joachim Low are their candidates for the role which is currently being presided over by Jupp Heynckes on a temporary basis.
This is according to Bild, translated for us by the Echo.
Carlo Ancelotti was sacked at the beginning of this campaign having lost the squad, and instead of making a quick appointment, Bayern are trusting Heynckes to get them through 2017/18 before choosing a long-term boss.
The report claims the whisperings of discontent about Klopp from some Liverpool fans have encouraged Bayern to pursue our manager.
We really hope and believe though that Klopp sees Liverpool as his project and that he wouldn’t betray us and his former club Borussia Dortmund by taking the job.

At Liverpool, he has owners who trust his judgement and has the chance to build a legacy and become a club legend.
Bayern win the title every year in Germany, so any achievement in his homeland will pale into significance to what he could do on Merseyside.
Perhaps we’re being naive, but we don’t believe Klopp would take any other job on the planet at the moment.
