Loris Karius is Liverpool’s no.1…
The German started the game against Manchester City today, and when probed about why the 24-year-old was selected ahead of Simon Mignolet, Jurgen Klopp suggested this would be the norm from now on.
Jürgen Klopp on the decision to start Karius over Mignolet: "Usually I could say it's a decision for today, but if Loris now is able to perform, he will stay in the goal."#LFC

We’re not exactly sure why Klopp has made this decision now, with Mignolet not exactly at fault recently. Karius has been half-decent in the Champions League and when selected domestically, but hasn’t necessarily done anything to warrant the no.1 spot.
Still, it’s Klopp’s choice – and we back the boss!
We hope Karius gains some confidence and fulfils his potential.
