Toby Alderwiereld, Danny Rose and Sadio Mane all miss out of Phil Thompson’s combined Liverpool and Tottenham XI!
The two sides face each other on Sunday at Anfield, in what could be a key match in deciding who finishes in the top four this season.
We’re currently two points ahead of Spurs, who’ll overtake us if they clinch a win.
Thommo has gone for Hugo Lloris in goal, which is a no-brainer, but has opted for Andrew Robertson over Danny Rose at left-back. He’s also selected Jordan Henderson as his holding midfielder, which caused a little controversy online.
Elsewhere, there was no room for Sadio Mane, with Heung-Min Son preferred.
The South Korean is probably having a better season in truth, but Mane is more proven attacker, we’d suggest.
What’s more, there’s no space for Delle Ali, but Roberto Firmino and Christian Eriksen are impossible to leave out.
We’d maybe go with a team like this, instead: Lloris, Trippier, Alderweireld, Van Dijk, Rose; Dembele, Eriksen; Salah, Firmino, Mane; Kane
