Liverpool’s attacking stars had more dazzling footwork to contend with on Friday as they were joined by Curtis Jones in first-team training.
The U18s sensation was granted the opportunity to work alongside Jurgen Klopp’s senior players as they continued their preparations for Sunday’s clash with Tottenham at Anfield.
It marked another special occasion for Jones, who signed his first professional contract with the Reds on Thursday.
Jones has progressed swiftly through the Academy ranks, earning an early promotion from the U16s to the U18s, where he has since established himself as a star man under manager and Anfield legend Steven Gerrard.

Jones has been in excellent form this season and is a leading contender in the club’s youth setup to push for an early first-team call-up further down the line.
With a number of Liverpool’s U23s stars having departed on loan deals in January, Jones has been tipped to feature regularly for Neil Critchley’s side between now and the end of the season.
His thought-process and execution on the ball so far this campaign serves as evidence that he is well-equipped to thrive in the next age bracket.
Liverpool have an undoubted talent at their disposal.
