It looks like Liverpool will sign Nabil Fekir this summer.
The Lyon captain has scored 22 goals in all competitions and been incredible for the club that looks most likely to finish as runners up to PSG in Ligue 1.
Yesterday, Eurosport journalist Romain Collet-Gaudin told EOTK that the deal is practically wrapped up bar the official signing of a contract, having already tweeted as much to his followers.

And last night, France Football journalist Nabil Djellit backed this up on the same social media platform.
The tweet below translates as follows:
“Klopp can always iron on an agreement with Fekir. The two men met at the beginning of the year. There’s a verbal agreement between them. Everything else [is to come], agreement between clubs, possible competition from other stables. It’s confirmed but not signed, a bit like Tuchel [to PSG]!”

So… a deal has been agreed verbally, and it’s just now down to Lyon, Liverpool and the 24-year-old to put pen to paper.
Having lost Coutinho in January, Fekir will be a mighty fine addition.
Although we’ve coped well without the Brazilian, it’ll be great to have an intricate, skilful playmaker back amongst our ranks.
With Naby Keita also arriving, it’s clear to see Jurgen Klopp is doing everything he can to help link the midfield and attack before next season.
