The Egyptian has described how brilliantly he gets on with the manager, which is probably why he’s come on so exceptionally since arriving from AS Roma in summer 2017.
“From my 1st day with the Reds, he has treated me like a friend. We talked together & there was something very strong between us right away. That current has continued from the beginning,” Salah told France Football, translated by GFFN.
What’s more, Salah is pretty pleased with his Egyptian King tune, too!
“Within a month or two, I had my own song, it is so special,” he continued. “Since I arrived, I’ve felt this passion & love. They are quite simply the best.”
Salah has scored two goals this season, which is not a bad return considering we’ve played and won five matches and he’s registered an assist to boot!
He isn’t quite as composed in the penalty area as he was during his best periods last term, but that’s no problem. Mo is world-class and his movement, pace and skill causes our opponents hellish problems even when he’s not in his best day.
Roberto Firmino’s fantastic performance against Spurs indicates he’s returned to form, which will definitely benefit Salah.
