Chelsea chairman makes disgusting proposal that LFC should flatly refuse

All 20 Premier League clubs have been asked to make a £250,000 donation to Richard Scudamore’s leaving present, reports BBC Sport.

The Premier League executive chairman is stepping down so that Susanna Dinnage can take over, but Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck has held a meeting in which he’s requested the amount that will total in a £5m gift for the departing boss.

Remarkably, it’s thought that the clubs will accept Buck’s idea, which was a result of his friendship with Scudamore since 2003.

Scudamore has been paid £2.5m per season for many years, but for some reason, Bunch thinks this is a smart way to reinvest money that ultimately comes from supporters.

If the 20 Premier League clubs were asked to invest £250k into grassroots football, we can imagine there would not be a unanimous ‘yes’… So for them to agree to this absurd, elitist, disrespectful reward would be simply not on.

Fans are paying more on tickets every year; our subscriptions to watch games on TV are crazy and it costs nearly £100 to get a replica shirt.

But let’s spend £5m on a millionaire’s leaving present. Sound.
