The reason Dyche had a go at Klopp on Final Whistle is stupid

You may have noticed a moment upon full time when Burnley manager Sean Dyche started berating Jurgen Klopp on the touchline.

Liverpool’s manager looked fairly bemused as the Englishman ranted in his face, before making gestures as he marched off onto the pitch.

According to the Mirror, Dyche was angry that Klopp had been gesticulating at referee Mike Dean to punish Burnley’s reckless tackles.

Joe Gomez had already left the field on a stretcher, and sliding tackles were flying in on the wet turf – so Klopp had every right to speak his mind.

The Mirror think this set Dyche off, especially after Liverpool came back from one goal down to win 3-1, with some excellent second-half goals.

Neither manager discussed the incident in their post-match press-conferences, which we admire.

In fairness to Dyche, he was probably just gutted his team had lost from a winning position, as they’re well and truly looking like relegation fodder right now.

As for Klopp, he and Liverpool march on.
