Jurgen Klopp has hailed his Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson after he made a huge save from Napoli’s Arkadiusz Milik to keep a clean sheet that took the Reds through to the Champions League last-16.
Anfield could be heard singing Alisson’s name on repeat at the final whistle and deservedly so.
Afterwards, Klopp said he would have happily paid twice the reported £66 million fee to Roma because of how good the goalkeeper has been so far.

We totally agree – he’s already paid back the transfer fee and he’s only been on Merseyside for a couple of months.
The number of chances the Reds missed should have meant the game was put to bed, but when Alisson was called upon, he duly delivered.
That is what the best goalkeepers in the world do – and Alisson certainly falls into that category.
