Mohamed Salah proved Liverpool’s saviour as he supplied a timely equaliser against Crystal Palace at Anfield.
The Egyptian pounced on Virgil van Dijk’s deflected long-range strike to flick home from close-range beyond a flapping Julian Speroni.
It capped a fierce start to the second half from Jurgen Klopp’s men in response to Andros Towsend’s shock opener for Palace in the 34th minute.
The effort marked Salah’s 18th goal of the season across all competitions and saw him become the current top scorer in the Premier League with 15.
His leveller was followed up shortly after by Roberto Firmino, who put his side ahead for the first time in the match. The score remains 2-1.
