Watch: Harry Wilson hits the woodwork twice with long-range efforts for Derby

Harry Wilson came inches away from adding to his impressive scoring record as he hammered the post twice during Derby County’s goalless draw with Preston North End on Friday night.

The Liverpool loanee hit the crossbar after 10 minutes having driven towards goal from the half-way line before unleashing a swerving effort from 25-yards out.

He found the woodwork against five minutes before the interval when his driven effort from a similar distance out struck the post and rolled away to safety.

It proved a tough point for Frank Lampard’s promotion-chasing Rams, with Preston producing a spirited display in the second half.

Wilson remains on 12 goals in 27 appearances across all competitions so far this season as he continues to play a starring role in Derby’s fight for a play-off spot.

Here is a look at his two efforts on the night…
