It’s not a secret – Mo Salah is boss and so is Jurgen Klopp. The German has been talking about the winger ahead of Liverpool’s Premier League clash with Cardiff City this weekend.
The ‘Egyptian King’ was recently named in TIME’s top 100 most influential people in the world bit and the manager has had his say.

“He’s a role model in so many different things,” said Klopp, as quoted by the Star. “It’s really, really nice to have him, and Sadio Mane as well.
“Both are Muslims and live that, in a world where these things are very often discussed in a dangerous manner, where people think, ‘they are all like this’ or ‘they are all like that’.
“We know that’s not true, but it is nice to have somebody around full of joy, full of love and to do what he is doing around his religion.”
Mo is already a legend in his home country after scoring the penalty that sent Egypt to the last World Cup – their first appearance in almost 30 years.
But the land of the Pharaohs isn’t the only place he’s adored; Klopp has spoken about how the star is a central presence in the changing room.
“He’s in the middle of the dressing room, he’s sensationally good with all the boys and he is very influential for us,” added the boss. “And if somebody thinks he is influential for the rest of the world as well then good, show it.”
