What a moment this would have been!
Liverpool weren’t short of goals against Huddersfield, but Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain almost marked his return with a lovely finish that would have sent Anfield berserk!
The midfielder slalomed his way through the opposition defence, but his left-footed effort didn’t have the venom required to beat the goalkeeper – which would have put the cherry on an absolute cake of an evening.

The Anfield faithful were buzzing to have Chambo back on the field and made sure he felt the love by giving him an incredible reception as he entered the field.
We’re not sure he’ll be heavily involved in the remaining fixtures, but it’s incredible to have been back in contention.
