The latest on Salah and Robertson injuries ahead of Wolves clash

There is mixed injury news for Liverpool ahead of the final weekend of the Premier League season.

Mo Salah will be back in contention to face Wolves having recovered from his concussion against Newcastle United last weekend, according to The Standard.

However, Andy Robertson, who went off during Tuesday’s game against Barcelona, is a doubt for the weekend. He will, though, certainly be back in time for the Champions League final against Tottenham on June 1.

If Salah is fit, it is likely to mean Xherdan Shaqiri will drop out of the side, with Divock Origi retaining his place. The Belgian is simply undroppable after his double and will be full of confidence.

Origi has already scored a few vital goals this season – and you would not bet against him doing so once more.

At left-back, James Milner will be asked to do a job there again as he admirably has many times in the past, meaning midweek hero Gini Wijnaldum will get his midfield berth back from the start.

The Reds can only do our own job on Sunday – and then it’s down to Brighton.
