Reds set price for winger who Jurgen Klopp sees getting a lot of minutes

Harry Wilson will be reluctantly let go by Jurgen Klopp this summer, as long as a bid of £25 million arrives, according to the Daily Mirror.

Klopp wants to keep the winger in an ideal world, but accepts that Wilson would like to play regularly – something he might not be guaranteed at Anfield.

Wilson has had one-on-one talks with Klopp about his future, with the German reassuring him about his role in the squad for the upcoming campaign.

If Wilson is to leave, it will only be on a permanent deal, with the Reds unwilling to sanction another loan spell. It was reported this morning that both Newcastle United and Aston Villa are very keen on him.

Wilson has impressed Klopp in pre-season, so much so that the Welshman has been told he will feature a lot, particularly early on in the season when Sadio Mane will be missing after international duty.

We’d like to see Wilson stay for another year – if he leaves too soon, he might live to regret it. At £25 million, though, it would not be a huge surprise to see him depart for another Premier League side – plenty would be able and willing to pay that.
