Harvey Elliott has been slammed by Fulham fans who claim to be happy that he has left the London club this summer.
Elliott has impressed Reds supporters significantly in his short time at the club so far, with comparisons to Manchester City star Bernardo Silva already having been made, while his dribbling and confidence certainly caught the eye against Lyon.
However, speaking to Love Sport Radio, guests from Fulhamish Pod were scathing in their criticism of Elliott in the wake of him leaving Craven Cottage, and following his apology after a video appeared on social media of him appearing to mock Harry Kane.
Elliott was unfavourably compared to the ‘level-headed’ and ‘mature’ Ryan Sessegnon, who was apparently a very different character at the same age.
The guest said: “Hate the barnet, and don’t really like the kid, either, to be quite honest with you.”
The scathing assessment of Elliott can be heard in the clip below.
The same contributor added: “Good riddance – good luck Liverpool.”

Whether that is the full truth about Elliott – or whether Fulham are just angry about losing the starlet, who they themselves poached from QPR earlier in his youth career – remains to be seen, but the Reds are normally very diligent when it comes to background checks on player’s character and personality traits.
Jurgen Klopp would not have brought him to the club if he thought he was going to prove to be difficult to work with.
