The Reds drew level less than five minutes into the second half through Sadio Mane, who bagged his first of the season on his first start of the new campaign.
Olivier Giroud put Chelsea in front in the first half, in a 45 minutes where the Reds were quite sloppy at times, but Firmino replaced Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain at the interval and it all changed.
Jurgen Klopp had obviously had a word with a few players at half-time, and they came out flying. The first half, in the main, was not acceptable, but this was the best possible response.
Firmino wasted no time at all as he received the ball and calmly laid it off for Mane to slot home, as the video below shows.

The Reds will score nicer goals this season, but no one will care! Now to find a winner in the game – there’s a long way to go yet.
