Arsenal could be bolstered by the return of Mesut Ozil when they come to Anfield on Saturday.
Ozil has yet to be involved this season amid concerns over his personal safety.
He and team-mate Sead Kolasinac have faced threats since the latter fended off a carjacking attempt in London.
But clearly the fears have eased, with Kolasinac able to return to action as a second-half substitute in the Gunners’ 2-1 win over Burnley last weekend.
Ozil too would likely have featured had it not been for illness.
The German is now back in contention, having built his fitness by training with his team-mates.

It would have been a shame for this hotly-anticipated fixture to have been robbed of some of its quality, especially for the reasons involved.
Ozil’s likely return will only increase the Gunners’ confidence for the trip after matching their opponents’ 100% start to the campaign.
Whilst he has been plagued by inconsistency and big-game struggles in recent years, few would deny Ozil’s capacity for moments of magic.
