Throw-in coach Thomas Gronnemark, who Jurgen Klopp brought into the club just over a year ago to give the Reds an advantage over the other sides in the Premier League with that very specific element of the game, has revealed that he is in demand.
Speaking to The Athletic, the Danish coach explained that four other Premier League teams have contacted him about working with them, but he will stay loyal to Klopp, recognising that he cannot work for multiple sides in the same league.
It might only be a marginal advantage, but throw-ins are a very frequent occurrence in every single match, so why not make the most of them?
When it comes to the teams at the top of the Premier League table, there is very little between them, and so something as seemingly small as this could be important. At the end of the season, a throw-in could prove to be pivotal so close it is between the Reds and Manchester City.
Klopp and the Reds squad love working with Gronnemark, so to have him sticking around for longer on an exclusive basis can only be good news.
