FIFA 20 isn’t officially released until September 24, but eager Reds can already try out their favourite team.
The game’s demo was made available on Tuesday afternoon.
There are six teams available to sample: Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham, Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid and PSG.
They can be pitted against one another in a one-off Champions League Group Stage match.
Unfortunately, you’ll have to wait to play games in a virtual version of Anfield, with only Stamford Bridge, the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and the Bernabeu accessible on the demo.
It does, though, also offer a taster of the new ‘Volta’ mode, which channels the spirit of the old ‘Fifa Street’.
Liverpool struck a long-term partnership with EA Sports during the summer.
As part of that, Virgil van Dijk will feature as the cover star of the ‘Champions’ Edition’.
The deal will also bring an ‘unrivalled authenticity’ to the in-game Liverpool, according to EA’s UK & Ireland country manager Samantha Ebelthite.
