Ragnar Klavan and Estonia were on the end of a nasty scoreline last night, as Netherlands put them to the sword in the European Championships qualifiers.
Ronald Koeman’s side won 4-0, thanks to goals from Memphis Depay, Ryan Babel (two) and their most influential player recently, Gini Wijnaldum.
Captain Virgil van Dijk was absolutely faultless at the back, although in truth, he didn’t have an awful lot to do, while Wijnaldum was a constant menace as an attacking midfielder.
Gini has been jaw-dropping for his country over the past year, scoring five goals and registering four assists in his past nine appearances.
Perhaps it’ll encourage Jurgen Klopp to give him slightly more offensive licence when wearing red!
